Here it is December. Fill up your activity calendar with lots of activities and fun at the Community Center. Come on over and enjoy a good meal, meeting friends or just visiting.
Friday, Dec. 4, Breakfast with Santa, starting at 7 am until 10 am. Come and have a great breakfast of ham, eggs, O'Brien potatoes, biscuits and gravy. Adults $8.00, kids $3.50, bring the kids for a visit and photo with Santa.
Saturday, Dec. 5, Bingo, Beef Tips Dinner starting at 5:00 until 6:30 with Bingo starting at 7:00.
Wednesday, Dec. 9, sing along at the center starting at 10:30. John Fries on his guitar will be here to entertain you.
T.I.P. Tamales home made $20.00 a doz. call the center 855-3300 before Thursday, Dec. 11 to be picked up by Dec. 19th.
Saturday, Dec. 12, Christmas Dinner starting at 5:00 until 7:30. $15.00 for adults, $7.50 for children.
Tuesday, Dec. 15, the last Jam Session of the year, hamburger or cheeseburger or hotdogs or a bowl of chili starting at 5:30 until 8:00pm. Enjoy the sweet music of our local talented musicians.
Wednesday, Dec. 16, Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest and potluck, starting at 10:00 am, with a 50/50. Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater and share your favorite dish. Fun and prizes galore.
Friday, Dec.18 & Saturday, Dec. 19 Santa will be at in the center at the Outside Christmas Tree from
6- 7:30 pm
Thursday Dec. 24 & Friday Dec. 25 Center will be Closed. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas
Wednesday, Dec 30 Birthday Bash. Enjoy your lunch of a Polish Sausage Dogs, mixed veggies and diced peaches. Happy Birthday to all December birthday folks.
Thursday, Dec. 31 and Friday, Jan. 1 Center will be closed for the New Year.
Menu for the week Thurs. Dec 3, Salisbury Stake w/gravy, baked potato, wheat break, pineapple tidbits
Fri. Dec. 4, tuna salad sandwich on wheat bread, navy bean soup, fruited jello Mon. Dec. 7, meatloaf w/gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, wheat roll, Tues. Dec. 8 hot dog, chili beans, sliced apples. Wed. Dec. 9, Chicken thigh w/mushroom sauce, baked sweet potato, hi c salad, wheat bread, pineapple tidbits.
Don't forget to call in the day before by noon to order your meal .Donations at $1.50, non-senior rated $3.50 Super Bowl Beerocks, orders your starting Jan. 4th with pick up Sat. Feb. 6th. $4.00 each
Mary's Closet, new and used clothing and much more, open on Mon & Wed. from 9 till 11.
Don't forget to renew your membership. We are a community Center and available for community parties, etc.
Come and join the fun at Sierra Oaks. We are a family here and invite everyone to come be a part. Sierra Oaks is a place to meet friends, attend enrichiching classes and activities and share meals with friends. We offer many services here for our Seniors and would love to have you visit.

The Season Is Here!
Get your calendar out and mark the days to come to the senior center.
Saturday, Nov. 7, Bingo, Meat Loaf. Dinner will be served from 5 - 6:30 pm. Brandy will be on hand for the Bingo game. Don't forget to bring a new unwrapped toy for our "Santa Baby".
Monday, Nov. 9, Red Hatters are hosting a workshop to create Ugly Christmas Sweaters workshop. Sweaters will be available for $3.00 and all accessories needed to create a "spiffie" creation.
Wednesday, Nov. 11, Center will be closed. There will be a special Luncheon to honor local Veterans, starting at 11:30. Beef stew, rolls, salad and dessert will be served.
Tuesday,Nov. 17, Jam Session, Let someone else fix supper for you. Starting at 5:30pm, Hamburger, cheeseburger, hot dog or a bowl of chili is on the menu. Stay and enjoy the sweet music played by our local talent.
Wednesday,,Thursday Nov.18, 19 Tree Decorating at the Museum. The center will be decorating a Christmas tree for the contest at the Museum. Be sure and go to the opening day on Saturday,Nov. 21 and vote for the Center's Tree.
Saturday, Nov. 21, Soup and Pie event at the center. Serving from 5 - 7:00 pm, your choice and all you can eat for $8.00, with a chance to win the 50/50 if you participate.
Monday, Nov. 23, Gift wrapping for "Santa Baby" gifts. Bring bows, ribbons and paper to help wrap the toys that have been collected to be distributed later on. Still need new items for preteen girls & boys.
Thursday/Friday, Nov. 26, 27 Center will be closed. Enjoy the Thanksgiving Days with family & friends.
Saturday, Nov. 28 Christmas Boutique at the center from 9am to 3pm. There are still booths available for just $10.00. Come and share your special talent with the community. Lunch will be available from 11 - 2pm. "Costco" dogs, chips & soda just $5.00
