Greetings from the Senior Center blog. Here's what's happening for the rest of the month and November. Come and meet Debbie Poochigian District Supervisor on October 25th She will give information on the fire tax. Bring your questions.
November - mark your calendar for a busy month. Thursday,Nov. 1st begin quilting, starting at 9:00 bring your ideas, more information to follow. On Thursday Nov. 8th the center will pay tribute to local vets with a turkey pot luck luncheon. Contact Connie Erwin at 855-3300 for food donations. Monthly Bingo is on Nov. 10th, and the Jam Session on the 20th. Don't forget the monthly breakfast on the 30th,then at 11:00 our wonderful high school chorus will be here to entertain us. If you have never heard the chorus directed by Mr. Weinberger, you must come and hear these talented kids. They are awesome
December - A Holiday Boutique, at the center, Saturday, Dec.1st, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Vendors invited.$10.00 a space, tables available. The monthly Bingo/dinner prepared by the Teri and the Crafters will be meatloaf, baked potato, veggie & dessert. Dec. 8th will be the annual Christmas Dinner and on the 15th Breakfast with Santa. Pictures will be takes as a memory. Last Jam Session of the year is scheduled on the 18th. On the 19th. A crazy fun day "Ugly Christmas sweatshirt" contest and pot luck starting at 10:00 am. Bring your ugly sweatshirt, favorite pot luck dish and tons of fun. Happy Holidays from the Center.
Come and join the fun at Sierra Oaks. We are a family here and invite everyone to come be a part. Sierra Oaks is a place to meet friends, attend enrichiching classes and activities and share meals with friends. We offer many services here for our Seniors and would love to have you visit.
